João Bernardo Cabral (1990-) and João Paulo Cabral (1956-) looked upon the imaginary and content of 41 poems by the writer António Cabral (1931-2007), published in Bodas Selvagens (1997), Antologia dos Poemas Durienses (1999) and Poemas Durienses (2017), and created 73 photographs, some on film, others digital, all in black-and-white, which they now present, in printed work, side-by-side and in dialogue with the texts of the great poet from Trás-os-Montes and the Douro. Trás-os-Montes and the Douro, where many of the last Portuguese landscapes of high quality and beauty still exist, form the geographic space covered by the texts and images.
